Higginsville’s campaign to save movie theater comes up short

HIGGINSVILLE, MO — Even winning a Reader’s Digest grant isn’t enough to keep the beloved Davis Theatre open. Its owners are putting it up for sale for $320,000 after a slow year and no funds to purchase a digital projector.
