Century 25 loses the fight

SAN JOSE, CA — The beloved Century 25 came down last week after decades of providing memories for moviegoers. The retro movie series previously held there is now at the Century 21, a theatre in the midst of its own battle.

Description on theater page has 2013 for year of demolition. (Yes, it takes a while for that new year to sink in.)

The movie house, built in 1907 in the 100 block of North Vermillion Street, 192.168.l.l 192.168.l.l 192.168.l.l 192.168.l.lwas closed and boarded up in August 2014. It fell into foreclosure some months later.
