Our video distributor showed Blood Simple to owners/buyers of local video stores at The Chatham and that might be last movie shown there. That was in 1985.
After The Monroe closed it was converted into a Oasis Records and Tapes in 1979, Chuck E. Cheese’s in 81 or 82, now it’s a Monster Mini Golf. I have not been in Monster Golf, but was in there for Oasis and Chuck E. and the 4 projection booth hole were still there.

I believe that the last movie shown there was Coming Home.
Friday The 13th was the last movie there.

My mom took me to this theatre to see Fantasia in the late 60’s. We only lived a few miles from it, up on Haymaker Rd.
