The West End Theatre was one of the classiest theatres I have ever visited. It was the total embodiment of Art Deco, with smooth lines, intricate ornamentation and all curves. It was opened November 23, 1925 with Mary Pickford in “Little Annie Rooney”. It was equipped with a Robert Morton 2 manual 4 rank theatre organ. To the best of my knowledge the building is still standing and is currently the Shrine of the Black Madonna.
