Good Time Theatre

This IMAX theatre, which was inside the Cedar Point Amusement Park, was opened on June 5, 1975. It was the only IMAX theatre in northern Ohio, until the Omnimax opened in the late-1990’s at the Great Lakes Science Center. The Cedar Point IMAX Cinema brought in a different IMAX film every season-one year the theatre had shown the Rolling Stones' IMAX concert film. Cedar Point closed the IMAX theatre at the end of the 2002 season and then used the theatre space, renamed Good Time Theatre for a “Peanuts”-themed ice skating show. It was demolished in 2015.

Opened as Cedar Point Cinema in 1975. Converted to Good Time Theatre in 2002. Photos as both added. Was supposedly the 2nd IMAX theatre in the America.
