Regent Cinema

in Murwillumbah South. The Regent Theatre was built in an Art Deco style, opening on 4th July 1947. It was designed by Scottish born architect George Rae. The former stalls area is now a supermarket, but the 300 seat, former circle area still retains charm and character. Specialises in a mix of mainstream and art-house movies. Circle foyer now the box-office and encompasses a cafe/restaurant. The pizzas are great!, and can be brought to you during the movie. Bean bags at the front of the seating area keeps the kids (and young lovers)happy!
