Listed in the 1944 and 1945 Film Daily Yearbooks as part of RKO. This theatre shared the same building as the RKO Capitol, but was a separate theatre. The building goes back to at least the 1920s. The State Theatre was not listed in any FDYs from 1951 onward.
Any additional information on this theatre would be greatly appreciated.

The B.F. Keith’s connection is probably why the State fell under RKO management. It is listed as the RKO State in this ad from December, 1932: www.i8.photobucket.com/albums/a18/Warrengwhiz/rkousa.jpg
