The MCL Silvercord Cinema was situated in the Tsim Sha Tsui district on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. It was on the ground and first floor of the shopping mall of a commercial building.

It opened to business on 17th July, 1993 and showed first run English language films until its closure on 8th October, 2006.

The interior of the cinema had been demolished and will be converted into retail space as part of the shopping mall.

Dear editor,
Was Silvercord Cinema formerly operate by EDKO before MCL?
Because I found the ticket from Silvercord Cinema (in the mid-90s) carries the logo of EDKO.
If so, what’s exact year MCL took over the Silvercord Cinema?
Thank you.
