Opened by Union General Cinematographique(UGC) as the UGC West India Quay on 2nd June 2000. It is located in the east London district of Poplar, on the Isle of Dogs in the heart of London’s rejuvenated Docklands area.

It was re-branded Cineworld in 2005.
