In the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook, the address given for the Gem Theatre is 401 W. Seventh Street. In the 1945 FDY, the address is only given as “W. Seventh Street”.

Cinematour lists two Gem theaters. One at 18 E Seventh St and the other Gem has the 401 Seventh St W address. Maybe there were two of them.

If you want to, change the address to match the one in the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook.

This is a circa 1915 postcard view of Seventh Street that shows a Gem, Alhambra and Mouse theater. Using the addresses given on Cinematour, Alhambra 14 E Seventh St, Gem 18 E Seventh St and Blue Mouse 20 E Seventh St. I assume that the Mouse became the Blue Mouse at some point. There were two Gem Theaters. The question is, were they movie theaters?

This Gem Theatre opened in 1935 and closed in 1955. the Gem located on E. 7th St. was a short lived theatre that opened in 1911.
