Are you scanning these photos? That one is blurry also.
Keep ‘em coming, “ken mc.” Lo Mem has a nerve criticizing your efforts. He contributes nothing but material that he poaches from others!
Another idiotic, false and misleading comment from the website Moron. First of all, it was a question and not criticism. Didn’t you see the question mark at the end of the sentence? Also, “Poaching” can mean that something was obtained illegally. Every link that I post is perfectly legal so I guess that you were actually referring to yourself in the above comment. And for someone that believes that he is so much smarter than others here, you are actually pretty stupid.
Your question was followed by a negative comment on the quality of the scan. “Poaching” is what you do, many times a day from the look of it. You enter people’s scrapbooks on the internet, and then publish links to some of the contents at Cinema Treasures. It might not be “illegal,” but it is certainly UNETHICAL. Before publishing those links, you should first contact the scrapbook owner and obtain their permission. How do you know that they want to be represented at Cinema Treasures? Maybe they have other intentions.
It took you long enough to reply. Did you have to wait for someone else to type the comment for you? No, it is not “UNETHICAL”. How do you know that the owners of the photos that you post from newspapers, magazines and books want them to be posted on here? You can milk this subject for all its worth to pad your comment count, but I’m getting tired of it and so are many other people here. Stop making yoursel look stupid.
BTW….Your still off topic!
Why don’t you take some time out to learn how to write correctly? It’s “You’re still off topic,” NOT “Your still off topic.”
Moron….This isn’t grammar 101. And your still off topic.
I would suggest that you find yourself another “victim” on this website to harass. Or better yet, behave yourself and make the website a better place for everyone.
Nonsense! The closing quotation mark usually comes after the period, not before it.
Correct usage: Ken said “I love Barbie."
Incorrect usage: Ken said "I love Barbie”.
An exception would be in a sentence ending with a quotation within a quotation, but I’ll save that for the next lesson.
Then you should have written “…Your still off topic!”, otherwise you were paraphrasing and not quoting at all.
The description of this theatre fails to mention that it was built to service the Afro-Caribbean community of Coconut Grove and often ran stage shows along with the films. It operated from the mid-fifties through to the late seventies playing mostly late run double features.
According to The Miami Herald movie timeclock there was another Ace somewhere in Homestead from 1966-1973.
