The Victoria Theatre opened in 1920 and was renovated in 1965, closing in 1975. It remained untouched, was then used as a feed store for over 30 years.
It reopened in fall of 2010, presenting movies at weekends, and ocassional concerts.

A friend of mine has told me that friends of his bought the Victoria Theatre in Blossburg last spring and are restoring it and hope to have it open for next spring. It used to be a feed store.
The Victoria Theatre has been renovated and will be showing second run movies on the weekends. All of the 1965 renovations on the inside are intact and the outside has been painted and the original architectural structures are present. A website will be published in the near future.
Congrats to the Victoria!

So nice to see this theatre become a theatre again! Must try to see it, in person, someday! Amazing that it was a feed store for 30 years!
mcnamara: Just checked out the link you posted…very nice! I wish all little towns could bring back a theatre like Blossburg PA did! Congratulations!
