The Alco was remodeled in 1941 and added 100 seats, according to a Boxoffice magazine report at that time.

City of Graham Historic Sites:

Alco Theater Building, ca. 1919 â€" 125 N. Main St. This building was constructed shortly before WWI to house “The Mexican,” a movie theater located on the second floor. In 1919, Allen Thompson purchased the business and changed the name to “The Alco Theater.” It is now home to Graham Underwriters’ Insurance Agency, the town’s oldest insurance firm.
