The Middleton Movie Theatre opened in 1946 and ran movies until 1962. It then became the Wayside Theatre and was home to the Community based professional theatre. The theatre presents live performances.

1989 ohoto of the Wayside Theatre. Not much to look at though.

This is what the Wayside Theater looked like in 2006. It looked much better at the time that photo was taken.
