Located in the east London inner city district of Dalston, on the southeast corner of Kingsland High Street and Colvestone Crescent, opposite Dalston Kingsland Railway Station. The Dalston Picture Playhouse was a small purpose-built cinema, with seating for 485 in stalls and circle levels. Originally it had a decorative tower feature on the street corner. It was a long narrow building, designed by architect Ernest Cannell. It was operated by A. Levinsky, and was listed as operating from 1914 to 1916.
Demolished many years ago to provide road widening for access to the Ridley Road street market.
