The Happy Cinema was situated in Yuen Long in the New Territories.
The cinema with two auditoriums seating 249 and 228 was in the Happy Plaza built on the site of the former Tung Lok Theatre.
It opened to business on 9th August, 1990 with the Cantonese version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", and showed first run Chinese dialect and English language films until its closure in the second half of 1995.
