This theater, opened in 2006, is housed in a former furniture warehouse circa 1925, just down the hill from downtown Newburgh. It is situated right on the water near the ferry and other great shops and restaurants, just across the Hudson from Beacon.

THat says they hope to have two screens. There’s a big difference between planning to add one and hoping to add one.
It’s interesting that of the 17 theatres listed on CT for Newburgh only two are open, both single screen one from 2006 the other from the early 1900s.
Currently showing “Moonrise Kingdom.” Advance reservations are highly recommended due to its 58-seat capacity.
