Located in the southeast London district of New Cross, on Queen’s Road, between Kender Street and Pomeroy Street, just West of the Montague Arms pub. The Queen’s Cinema House was opened on 6th April 1914 with 790 seats. In 1915, it was re-named Queen’s Road Cinema. In 1916, it was re-named Ideal Kinema.

The Ideal Kinema was taken over by Naborhood Theatres Ltd. in around 1935, and was re-named Naborhood Cinema. It was destroyed by German bombs in 1940, and the remains were demolished in 1941.

Today, the site is an open space in front of housing that has been built set back from the Queen’s Road.
