The Bay Theatre opened in 1945 with seating listed at a little over 800. The Bay Theatre was operated by Jefferson Amusement Co. The architect listed for the Bay Theatre was Leon C. Kyburz.

The theatre closed in 1964 and has been converted to a church (Iglesia Mueva Vida). Any further information on the Bay Theatre would be appreciated.

The name of the church would be Iglesia Nueva Vida, which means New Life Church.
