The Kwun Tong Theatre was a neighbourhood theatre in Kwun Tong on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong.
The theatre opened to business on 9th October, 1970 with a Mandarin kungfu film. Its 1,603-seat auditorium with stalls and dress circle was in the theatre section of a residential building.
it showed first run Chinese dialect films. On 1st May, 1979, the theatre was re-named as the Life Theatre under a new management with " The World of Last Man."
The Life Theatre showed first run Chinese and English films at full prices, and selected films at 11am morning shows at reduced prices.
The theatre was under renovation in 1997, and re-opened on 18th July, 1997 with the stalls area converted into shops and the balcony section with 462 seats as the theatre.
It closed in 11th April, 2004, and the theatre had been converted into a church.
