The Mode Theatre was built inside a building constructed in 1886. The building was called the Crockery which sold pottery. The Mode Theatre opened in the late-1930’s with seating listed at 500. The building reverted back to retail after closing as a movie theatre sometime in the late-1950’s. It is now the home to Shapes & More.

Any further information on the Mode Theatre would be appreciated.
