Located in the former East Berlin district of Mitte, and opened in 1963, the International Kino is a jewel of Socialist cinema building. Two opulent and spacious foyers and a uniquely decorated screening hall are outstanding among the usually rather spartanian and functional German cinemas.
The International Kino is designated a Landmark Listed building.
