Grand opening ad

The Mall Cinema 5 began like so many theatres as a twin theatre. Located at Hatcher Point in the Mall, it was a Georgia Theatre, then United Artists took over only to have Georgia Theatres to take it back. A brief time in the summer of 1986 it was called The Movies.

It expanded during the current ownership of Georgia Theatres.

The Georgia Theatre web site says this is the Mall Staium Cinema 7.

This opened on May 15th, 1974 as a twin
