Built near the Parker Ranch on the Big Island of Hawaii, in Kamuela, this theater was designed as a traditional Hawaiian community hall on the outside, but inside resembles a modern, state-of-the-art performing arts center with seating for nearly 500.

The Kahilu not only screens first-run features (on weeekend nights), but is one of the most popular and well-known performing arts venues in the area. Its stage hosts everything from jazz concerts to dance to youth theater to community events.
