Winrock 6  Albuquerque, NM  1995

The Winrock 6 was erected on the site of the razed Fox Winrock - a Cinerama house at 201 Winrock Center. Built in the Cooper-style utilized by many venues in the region, the Winrock 6 was opened October 3, 1986, operated by Commonwealth, United Artists, and became part of Regal Cinemas.

This theatre closed in 2013 and was demolished in the same year. Replaced by a new build Winrock 16.

This opened on October 3rd, 1986. Its grand opening ad can be found in the photo section.

The largest auditorium of the Winrock featured 70mm film and was the 101st auditorium to be THX certified. Glatz-Jacobsen Architects designed the Winrock 6.
