This was a free standing white building, next to a high-rise bank off the highway, with a highway marquee. It had a large lobby and did good business right from the start. Opened on August 1, 1975 by General Cinema Corp., they operated it throughout its life until it closed on September 24, 1998.
It was well managed by Ed Phinney, later Linda Issac. The first Division Manager was Dennis Mahaney of the Denver Division.

Hey Dennis how come this theater shut down?
General Cinema closed this theater on September 25th making September 24th the last day while showing Air Bud: Golden Receiver, Ever After: A Cinderella Story, and Rush Hour. Also during the last few years of the theater existing they changed the name to General Cinema Park Square At Louisiana Boulevard I-II-III
They closed this theater in the year 1998 in case you confused my post as it closed this year.
