Savoy Theatre

The Savoy Theatre was opened prior to 1941, and at that time it was operated by Frank Walker, as a subsidiary of Paramount Pictures Inc. It was later owned by Comerford Theatres out of the Mears Building in Scranton. F.C.Walker was the president of that company which had a few screens in New York, but most were in Pennsylvania. A drive-in was also located in this city, but it was not owned by Comerford Theatres.

The Savoy Theatre was still operating in 1950.
