Picture Palace

Opened in the Corn Exchange in 1910, it was soon renamed Picture Palace. It was closed in 1937. It became a dance hall for many years.

Today the building is in use as the Tandoori Palace Indian Restaurant.

The Palace opened in the Corn Exchange in 1910. Proprietors were Michael Williams (1910-36) then Russell Wright, (1936-37) Then Owen Cooper who also ran the Palace,, Hadleigh. The cinema had 400 seats.
