Located in the centre of Wolverhampton. The Olympia Cinema was a conversion by architect Joseph Lavender of the Thornley Street Odd-Works factory. It opened on 14th March 1910.
It was closed on 9th July 1960 with “Lift to the Scaffold” and Fellini’s “Cabiria”.
In recent years it has operated as the Planet nightclub.
