Located in the south Sydney suburb of Hurstville. The Civic Theatre was opened in the 1920’s. It was operated by Western Suburbs Cinemas Ltd.
The Civic Theatre was closed on 11th October 1969 with Debbie Reynolds in “The Biggest Bundle of Them All” and Elvis Presley in “Live a Litle, Love a Little”.
It became a furniture store.
