Located in Stamford, Lincolnshire. This was built as a skating rink in 1909, and operated until 1911. It was converted into a cinema and was soon taken over by George Barber of Stoke on Trent. He introduced variety shows to the programme of film performances.

In early-1913 it was re-named Picture Palace. In 1922, under new management it was renamed Palace Cinema. Cine-variety continued on an enlarged stage, and with new dressing rooms. In the Spring of 1927 it was destroyed by fire.

The site lay derelict until 1928, when it was rebuilt as the Lansbury Hall. This was a multi-purpose hall, and by the late-1960’s was used as a bingo club. Since late-1970 it has been used as a social club.
