Premier Cinema

Located in Congleton, Cheshire. The Premier Picture House was opened in 1912. It had a 22 feet wide proscenium. It was operated by the J.F. Emery Circuit in 1932 and 1933 and was given a makeover by Manchester based architectural firm Cruickshank & Seward.

The Premier Cinema was still open in 1966, but closed in the late-1960’s. It was put to other uses, but has since been demolished.

The Premier cinema opened in 1912 and was located on Lawton Street Congleton.
