The Haida Theatre opened as the Plaza Theatre around 1940, coming under Odeon ownership shortly afterward. It closed around 1965 and later reopened as the Haida Theatre. It closed again in the early-1990’s due to structural problems and was later demolished.

This photo, from the Puget Sound Theatre Organ Society shows this theatre as the Plaza in 1946, with the Dominion next door and the Capitol across the street.

Here’s another shot of the Haida (as the Plaza), along with the Dominion, taken probably around the early 1950s.
