The Eric Theatre was opened as a twin screen theatre inside the MacDade Mall Shopping Center. It was operated by Sameric Theatres in the 1980’s. By 1993 it had been transformed to a four screen theatre.
United Artists operated the Eric Theatre in the 1990’s until it closed on August 18, 2003.

Wow, finally a listing for this theater. I got lots of ads to post on the photos section so look out for em. Seen cocoon in summer of 85 and then seen the terrible robocop 3 in fall of 93. that was the last movie i seen there. I only seen these 2 movies here. But it showed alot of cool movies in its heyday.. Friday the 13th part 3 in 3-D Amityville 3-D. Halloween III, just so many to name.
