The Palace Theatre was opened April 18, 1952 with Bobby Driscoll in “"When I Grow Up”. It had 800 seats. It was renamed Studio 82 Cinema on December 31, 1964. In 1970 it went over to screening adult movies and closed in April 1984.

There was also an Studio 82 in Calgary.

This opened as the Palace theatre on April 18th, 1952 and became the Studio theatre on December 31st, 1964. Later on, it was with Canadian theatres and Canadian Odeon theatres. Adult movies from the 1970’s until it closed in 1984. Grand opening ads posted in the photo section.
