In Coggeshall, Essex, the Kinema was opened, about 1929, by a Mr. Cooper. By 1933 its proprietor was Mr. J. Ashcroft, but by 1936 it had been taken into the Bostock Cinema Circuit. It closed in 1959 under the ownership of Charles H. Sellens but the building remained, as a small factory (occupied, in November 2013, by Fleetshield). By 2017 it had been demolished and a Co-Op store had been built on the site.
