Located in Great Dunmow, Essex, by 1921 the Star Picture Palace, situated within the Town Hall, was under the ownership of Mr. E. Oliver. The cinema appears to have closed by 1928. In September 1998 the building was used for shops and offices.

There was another cinema in Great Dunmow. It was The Kinema in the High Street and was part of the Bostock Circuit. The building is now retail premises.
