Located in Moreton, Wirrel, Merseyside, Cheshire. The Ye Olde English Picture House was opened in April 1921. It was operated by Cheshire Picture Halls. Equipped with British Thomson Houston(BTH) sound system in 1930, it was taken over by S.M. Super Cinemas in 1932 and re-named Picture House.

In 1954 it was taken over by the Newcastle upon Tyne based Essoldo Circuit. The Picture House was closed as a cinema in the mid-1960’s, and was converted into a bingo club. Later known as the Windsor Bingo Club, and finally as the Top Ten Bingo Club, it had closed by 2012, and the building was ‘For Sale.
