Fremont Theatre

The 250-seat Fremont Theatre opened in 1909. It was designed by architect Alfred Mason. It was closed in the summer of 1921 for a remodel and enlargement to the plans of architect Oliver B. Wight and E.A. Lockhart. The theatre could now seat 700, but it seems in never reopened, and the theatre was ‘For Sale’ in February 1923. The theatre was later demolished for housing.
