The Family opened in 1931, and served as a movie house until the 70s. It could seat around 600. The former theater now houses an antique shop.

My recollection is that this theatre closed before the 1970s. Perhaps I’m wrong, but I don’t recall it being open even in the late 1960s.

This was renamed Crest on December 3rd, 1960. Grand opening ad posted in photo section.
