Located in Heywood, Lancashire. The Picturedrome opened in 1912. It was remodelled in 1918 and re-opened as the New Picturedrome. In 1930 it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. In 1932 & 1933 it was operated by the J.F. Emery Circuit. The Picturedrome was closed in 1955.
It was taken over by new operators around 1956 and re-named Roxy Cinema. It was closed by 1966. Later demolished, a branch of Boots now stands on the site.
