In the Wedding district of Berlin, the Clou Lichtspieltheater opened in 1954 with 481 seats. The architect was Gustav Genz. In 1982 it became the Maxim Kino, and later the Momo Kino. From 1991 it was the Sputnik Kino, with 320 seats. It was renovated the following year, and the seating capacity was reduced to 290. It was equipped with 16mm and 35mm projectors. By the time I visited in April 1999, it had closed. The most recent advertising on the frontage was from September 1998.
