Located in Widnes, Lancashire. The Picturedrome was opened on 17th December 1910. It was built for the Weisker Bros. chain, and was designed by architectural firm Campbell & Fairhust of Southport. All seating was on a single raked floor. In 1930 it was equipped with a British Talking Pictures(BTP) sound system, which was replaced by a GB Kalee sound system in the late-1930’s.
