Cinema North

Located in the north Melbourne district of Reservoir. The Palais Theatre was opened in 1943. In 1945 it was re-named Plaza Theatre. It was operated by L.E. Rossiter & R.E.R. Emslie. It was twinned in 1969 and was operated by Village Cinemas as the Cinema North. Seating was provided for 723 and 241. This operated until 1992.

Village Cinemas de-twinned the Cinema North reopening it as a single screen in 1993. It is not known when the Cinema North Closed. In 2016 the building is in use as offices for a young offenders correctional institute.
