The Lincoln opened as the Richmond Theatre in mid-1911 on the West side of 6th Avenue, between Clement and Geary. In mid-1913, it was renamed the Lincoln.
It closed on March 31, 1940, was renovated, modernized, and converted into the Lincoln Bowl, a bowling alley. It has since been torn down.
