Landmark Theatre

Located in the seaside resort of Ilfracombe, Devon. The Landmark was built in 1967 as a replacement to, and on the same site as the storm damaged Pavilion. It opened in May 1968 and was designed by architectural firm Tim Ronalds Architects. The two auditoriums are located inside two inovative brick cone structures. The main auditorium (originally named Pavilion Theatre) has seating 464 in stalls & circle levels and as well as live theatre productions was equipped for cinema use. The smaller Winter Garden auditorium has seating 200.

The Landmark Theatre was closed suddenly on 23rd January 2017 due to lack of funding. The same operating company closed the Queens Theatre, Barnstaple on the same day.
