In the 1940’s, movie houses were beginning to show up in the shopping centers that were popping up all around the Baltimore area. Middle River was where much of the war efforts in aricraft development were undergoing at Martin Marietta, and the Aero Theatre named after the nearby plant opened in 1943.
It appears that it was used as a warehouse for years before being torn down. The site is currently a supermarket and the old theater building has been completely razed.
