The Omar Theater was opened in 1906, located on S. State Street at W. Harrison Street in the South Loop neighborhood. The theater was closed in 1918, and by 1920, a retail store was operating at the address. Since 2008, the Library Tower condominium complex has stood on the site of this theater.
