The Strand Theatre has been operating since at least 1941, when it was listed with a seating capacity for 350. A lovely small town theatre, reminds you of the old days with a lot of the original architecture still in place. Feels like you have stepped back in time.

Wonderful small-town theater, I’d go there every summer, but phone was disconnected as of 6/30/2010. It may be a goner.
They are still open and the correct phone number is 518-532-9077.
It is one of the nicest classic movie places I have been to! The owner is very friendly and chatted with me for a while when i went to see The Other Guys.
