Chorley Town Hall

Located in Chorley, to the south of Preston, Lancashire and now part of Greater Manchester. Chorley Town Hall is an imposing building, with a centrally placed clock tower. It was built in 1879 to the plans of architects John Ladds & W.H. Powell. There is a large reception room in the building (today named The Lancastrian) which was used for stage shows and in December 1908 was used as a cinema. Today it is used as a function room for banquets, dinners and meetings.
